In the early ‘90s, supply chain management underwent a significant change due to globalization. The escalating cost of goods and product management and the need to improve complex logistics issues suddenly became paramount. Rol Grit, a former Supply Chain leader at one of the premier Office Furniture manufacturers in West Michigan, partnered with Bob Wood and G&T Industries to create World Resource Partners in 1995 to focus on a global manufacturing network for better asset and cost management. Like most startups, it required long days and often long nights. WRP first made a name for itself by importing high-quality drawer slides in 1997. Our company remains a leader in developing ethical, reliable, and global manufacturing solutions across multiple commodities and industries.

Our parent company, G&T Industries, is a large foam fabrication company serving marine, furniture, packaging, and other industries.
We offer a world of manufacturing solutions tailored to your needs with headquarters and warehousing located in Byron Center, Michigan, production capabilities throughout Asia, and distribution centers in Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Tennessee. Another subsidiary of G&T Industries is Crane Interiors, Inc. in Woodbury, Tennessee providing upholstery for the marine industry.
